Epilogue

Reporting on the infant Parish in March 30, 1967 edition of the Long Island Catholic, Antoinette Bosco made this incisive observation about Our Lady Queen of Martyrs:

What is a real parish? It is people -- who worship together -- work closely with a sense of unity -- serve one another  because they belong to the one Lord Christ -- and move the Church forward because there is life generated from their meaningful, communicative relationship.

And so Ms. Bosco described our Parish family -- a characterization which is as true now as it was then.
