Parish Outreach: Provides support and
service, including food, clothing and financial assistance to anyone in
need within our parish boundaries. All Volunteers are trained to
ministry compassionately and with confidentiality. |

Bag Sunday: Each November, grocery
bags are distributed after all Masses. They are returned the
following Sunday, filled with items that cannot be purchases with food
stamps. The Society of St. Vincent de Paul then distributes them
during the Christmas Food Drive to families in our own parish, as well
as to families in neighboring parishes. |

supports our brothers and sisters at a time when they are experiencing
the pain of the loss of a loved one. |

Counselors: Professional
counselors will give a free, initial visit and then charge on a sliding
scale. there is also help for people who have no insurance,
through the Patricia M. Koenig Counseling Ministry. |

Elizabeth Ministry: Women who
are willing to share their presence, stores, and experiences in the hope
that these will support, encourage, console, and, at time, bring healing
to another woman. Elizabeth Ministers are matched with women to
visit according to their areas of expertise. |

Employment Network:
Established, non-sectarian guidance program for anyone seeking
employment: the recently terminated, first time job hunters and/or
returnees. |

Eucharistic Ministers for the Homebound:
Bring the Grace of God through the Holy Eucharist to the hospitalized
and the homebound, while giving those who receive Jesus a continued

HIHI (Huntington Interfaith Homeless
Initiative): Alternate Sunday evenings, November through
March, volunteers from Centerport United Methodist Church, the
Congregational Church of Huntington, St. Patrick's and OLQM provide
shelter for the homeless in our Community Room. |

Network: Dedicated to implementing Catholic Social Teaching

Ministry of Consolation: Helps
in planning the funeral rites and the Mass of Christian Burial.
Acts as companions to the family and the faith community in grieving the
departed. Continues to keep in contact with the family with
