Pastoral Council Mission Statement

We the members of the Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Pastoral Council have committed ourselves to serve as a forum of consultation for the pastor and church members.  The purpose of this interaction is to foster the process of pastoral planning and decision-making in the implementation of our parish’s 
mission and vision.

 The essence of our parish life revolves around worship, the sacraments, the Word of God, evangelization, stewardship, community, and service.  The Council works jointly with the pastor to help create and implement programs, events, and services to further our mission and thereby serve the people of God.

 Enhanced communication along with spiritual renewal of the parish, are the primary roles of our Council.  We seek to listen to our parishioners and then share that information with the pastor, his staff and the various ministries of the parish.  Our ultimate goal is to better serve Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church and the wider community at large.
