Eucharistic Adoration What is Eucharistic Adoration? In the Most Blessed Sacrament of the Eucharist, the body and blood, together with the soul and divinity, of our Lord Jesus Christ and, therefore, the whole Christ is truly, really and substantially present. In his Eucharistic presence, He remains mysteriously in our midst as the one who loved us and gave Himself up for us. Pope John Paul II says: “The Church and the world have a great need for Eucharistic worship. Jesus awaits us in this sacrament of love. Let us not refuse the time to go to meet him in adoration, in contemplation full of faith, and open to making amends for the serious offenses and crimes of the world. Let our adoration never cease.” The Holy Father spends at least one hour daily in Eucharistic adoration, which he tells us is a fundamental duty in the life of a Christian. “Our communal worship at Mass must go together with our personal worship of Jesus in Eucharistic adoration in order that our love may be complete.”
Time Commitment: Jesus asked: “Could you not watch one hour with Me?” Won’t you please consider devoting just one specific hour each Monday, 12:30 - 8:00 PM with Jesus in the Most Blessed Sacrament? “He waits for you!” | ||
