Parish
Outreach frequently receives calls from parishioners wanting to donate furniture
and from those wanting furniture. Since we do not have a storage facility
we are unable to accept these donations or help those in need. We
therefore decided to establish this web page for that purpose.
If you
want to donate furniture and have it appear on our web page, call Parish
Outreach at (631) 754 - 9045. We ask that the furniture be in good to very
good condition. The following is just a sample of the items we will list:
appliances, microwaves, patio furniture, couches, furniture, bed ensembles,
curtains, tables and chairs. However we CANNOT ACCEPT
MATTRESSES. Once a donation has been accepted, we ask
that the donator communicate this fact to Parish Outreach, so we can remove the
listing; otherwise, the listing will remain on-line for two weeks only.
Parishioners who
are interested in obtaining an item listed, just need to call the donor
directly.
This service is free-of-charge.
