Ministry or Mothers Sharing (MOMS)

Attention Moms!

  • Do you sometimes feel overwhelmed with your daily routine and activities?
  • Are you someone who always aims to please and does not always put your needs first?
  • Are you looking to meet other Moms and to create new friendships?
  • Are you searching for a way to reconnect with your faith?

This Winter, take some time to renew yourself and join MOMS (Ministry of Mothers Sharing) group!

The MOMS group will meet on a weekly basis for an eight week journey.  We will work together to reflect on the joy and miracle of motherhood as well as to recognize the life experiences that may be challenging or limiting your personal growth.  This group is facilitated by Moms for Moms.  We address six specific topics.

  • Self-esteem
  • Stress and Anxiety
  • Spirituality
  • Feelings
  • Personal Growth
  • Friendship

Wednesday evening program.  (First meeting in January at 7:30 pm in the Parish center and will continue next seven consecutive Wednesday nights.)

The MOMS group gives you an opportunity to respect your role as a mother as well as the chance to stand back from this tremendous responsibility to simply "be yourself" for a few hours each week.  Join us for some laughter, prayer, crying, and just plain talking with other women who share the common bond or motherhood.

To join or for more information, please call Sister Eileen Corcoran at 757-6250.

*Please note:  There is a $20 materials fee and enrollment is limited to eight per group.
