Trust is a firm belief in the reliability and truth of someone or something.
Trust is this year’s theme for the Parish and for our Religious Education program.
As Catholic Christians, we trust that God loves us and has a plan for us.
Do you put your trust in God?
Do you believe that God watches over us and loves us?

The Book of Proverbs is a collection of teachings in the form
of sayings. Many proverbs speak about what a wise person would do in certain
situations.

The
Book of Psalms is a collection poems or songs, collected over a long period of
time. One of the main ideas echoed in the
Psalms is a deep trust in God.
The Lord protects and defends me; I trust in him. He gives me help and makes me glad.
-- Psalm 28:7
To you, O Lord, I offer my prayer; in you, my God, I trust.
-- Psalm 25:1
Those who know you, Lord, will trust you; you do not abandon anyone who comes to you.
-- Psalm 9:10
Isaiah was a great prophet who spoke for the Lord to the
people of Judah. Isaiah offered hope
to his people, who were suffering and discouraged, if they would turn back to
God.
Trust in the Lord forever; he will always protect us. -- Isaiah 26:4
St. Paul wrote this letter to introduce himself and his message to the church at Rome.
In his message he proclaims “God’s powerful way of saving all people who
have faith.”
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace, as you trust in him. -- Romans 15:13
